This month’s article will be short and sweet! (pun intended)

The holidays are back again. I always look forward to family and friends getting together and sharing a meal or two.

A big question is always: ‘How do I eat healthy on a holiday when most of the offering on the table is so laden in sugar and unhealthy fats and such?”

Eating healthy is fairly easy if you choose healthy recipes. Great tasting side dishes and main courses do not have to be necessarily bad for you to be flavorful and satisfying. There are thousands of tasty options if you look around online and search for great tasting healthy holiday options. The easiest is to search for Mediterranean options, but there are many more to choose from.

After a bit of research, I found these great website options for you to review. There are more healthy – and tasty options than you could imagine.

I wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.

Note: Don’t forget to keep active and moving. Continue your workouts, visits to the gym, walking, etc.. Just because it’s the season to celebrate, doesn’t mean it’s the season to not continue your journey to becoming more fit and healthy. Remember, moderation in all things. Taking a few weeks off can set you back for more than a month. Move!
